Christine showed me all the options I had for studying abroad. She provided plenty of advice, contacts, and resources for all the possible directions I could have taken my education applying from the US abroad.

Ms. Eischen paved the most important path for the start of my adulthood. Going through high school, I was loosely in touch with what I wanted after my four years, it changed everyday. Either following the expectations of my family or the expectations of my peers, it was hard for me to decipher what was truly the best decision for me to make. Through Ms. Eischen’s eagerness to listen and ability to relate with me, she emboldened a level of independence and trust in my decisions that brought me to a school, that I love and was a perfect fit. Her passion for students made the college application process almost like a therapy session. She answers the midnight frantic emails and has been there for me during the many stress induced meltdowns.

When I ran into family problems during my first semester of college leading me to rethink the rest of academic future, the first person I contacted was Ms. Eischen. She met with me during her free time and we just talked about everything that happened, offer to help me with a job search, and was never judgemental. She’s offered to physically go with me to sign up for classes at a new college. Once you’re her student she never drops you and in a process that makes kids feel like numbers; she brings a level of humanity back to it. Her gift that is all at once, neutral and hyper engaged, is keeping me on path to finishing my higher education.

As my college counselor and advisor, she was there for me whenever I needed her, and always provided advice that was incredibly helpful. The college application process is usually stressful and confusing, but working with Christine made the entire experience less stressful and more easy and simple for both me and my parents. She was one of the most supportive people for me throughout my senior year of high school, and I owe a big part of my Yale acceptance to her and all the help and advice she gave me.

Ms. Eischen was so helpful during the college application process. She takes the time to get to know her students in order know how best to assist them. I enjoyed spending time going over essays, and she helped make them perfect. She was always there to answer my questions. Even now in college, I still reach out to Ms. Eischen when I have questions because she has always proven to be a beneficial resource. Not only was she resourceful during the application process, she also helped me discover my passion for producing. If it weren't for her encouraging me to explore my skills, I wouldn’t have seen my strive as a producer, I wouldn't be minoring in media production and hoping to center my internship around it. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Christine is excellent at what she does, she has found her calling. She truly understands high school kids and the school system. She is calming, reassuring and able to get her point across in a very professional manner. She was the counselor for my twin sons. Even though my boys are extremely bright we struggled to get them to stay fully engaged with school. During meetings, Christine was able to open not only my mind to possible solutions but the boys' mind as well. She truly listened and understood what they were saying. She was able to think outside the box and work with my sons and their teachers to make sure the work was getting done to a level that everyone could be satisfied with.
